Quality vinyls and expert fitting
In addition, we have a selection of slip resistant vinyls where safety under foot is a priority. Expertly fitted by our in-house team. A good sub floor is always required for the best results, we can also hardboard, ply and screed your floor if needed.
- What is vinyl flooring?
Vinyl flooring is a water resistant and flexible floorcovering. It is suitable for most rooms in the house and is usually backed with either felt or foam. Vinyl can add lots of personality to your floor aswell as being comfortable underfoot. Available in a range of thicknesses vinyl is a more affordable option than LVT.
- How to prepare the sub floor for fitting?
More often than not the subfloor needs to be prepared before the vinyl floor can be laid.
With a concrete floor we would use a self levelling screed the day before and for a wooden floor we would use hardboard or 6mm ply.
- What designs does Vinyl come in?
Vinyl flooring comes in many wonderful designs now. From wood planks and parquet to natural and modern looking floor tiles. It even comes with glitter and gorgeous patterns to suit any home. See our gallery for some of our previous work.
- How you care for my new Vinyl?
We prefer a spray mop of diluted non alkaline/ mild detergent cleaner to gently and easily clean your floor on a regular basis. Avoid using steam cleaners and products with bleach in.
Speak to one of our friendly, knowledgeable team about your flooring requirements, and borrow sample books and order carpet samples to take home so you can see how it would look in situ. Rest assured that we don’t use pressure sales tactics – at Homecall Carpets, we want you to feel comfortable about making the right decision for your home and budget. We look forward to meeting you.
